Tealby 8 - about 6 miles

Park in or near the King's Head car park in Tealby (TF 158909). 

Turn Left out of the car park and follow the road to the right. After 50 metres turn right down The Smooting. At road turn left up to the church. Keep church on left and take road to left after church. Turn right at finger post, through gate before farm, pass straight ahead across field heading towards tree. At the tree cross diagonally across field to style in the corner.

 Keep straight on until you see farm then head for it. Go in front of the farm and up the track to road. Turn left at road until next footpath to left. Continue until Risby. Turn left in front of buildings and follow metalled road to open field where you take the Viking Way right. Keep close to hedge, down the dip to bridge & deer gate, up through the copse through two deer gates and head across the field to Walesby Church. 

Go through the churchyard and down the track to the road in the village. Keep left and after 10 metres a finger post points through a gap in the wall. Follow this footpath until you reach the road. Turn left along the road for 300 metres and take the footpath left. 

At the metalled road turn left up the hill to again take the Viking Way right. Follow this up the hill, alongside a wood and then bear left down the valley. After the gate keep the hedge on your right and follow the path until the road. Cross the road and go slightly left to pick up the footpath through a garden and down the hill to your start.
